The GNI (Gross National Income) of North Korea is steadily increasing regardless of sanctions from the USA and the world.

What is GNI?

The gross national income (GNI) is the total domestic and foreign output claimed by residents of a country, consisting of gross domestic product (GDP), plus factor incomes earned by foreign residents, minus income earned in the domestic economy by nonresidents

The GNI (Gross National Income) of North Korea is steadily increasing regardless of sanctions from the USA and the world.

How is it possible?

I think it is because of smuggling, international trade between China, and local black markets in North Korea.
Illegal business supports North Korean economy.
Is it good for the future of North Korea?

North Korean people are getting used to the illegal business.
