North Korean workers in Pyongyang are forced to have and use cash cards.

North Korean workers in Pyongyang are forced to have and use cash cards.

Workers have to pay 2000 North Korean Won (equal to USD 0.25) to receive cash cards.
North Korean regime encourages its people to use cash cards for deposits and withdrawals.

Even though having a cash card has been considered a symbol of wealth in North Korea, ordinary residents who have cash cards are worried about being ripped off by Kim Jong Un.

North Korean regime is forcing managers and workers in factories and firms to have cash cards issued, even though managers and workers do not understand the necessity of cash cards because they are accustomed to dealing with cash.

Does North Korea have credit cards?
